Victoria Beckham A/W 14

Tuesday 11 February 2014

On Sunday February 9th at New York Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham showcased the brands latest collection for Autumn Winter 2014. This was the first step away from the much more ready-to-wear collections Victoria Beckham has previously produced, with a more fashion forward and avant-garde approach, this collection really was something fresh from the ever incredible designer. The geometry and symmetry seen within her Spring Summer 14 collection has evolved into a much more deconstructed shape. With a much less fitted approach to each look than some of the most identifiable Beckham styles, the collection comprising of 31 looks, consisted of a combination of dresses, coats and separates with more trousers seen this season than ever before. The still noticeable strength and structure of the collection was broken down by the softness of the chiffon dresses and tops. With a slight indication of print, something previously unseen in a Victoria Beckham collection, is this a route the designer will venture into next?
